Jobscore.com - Where a “No Hire” Isn’t Necessarily a Bad Thing

 Jobscore

Good article by Rafe Needleman on Webware.com

Jobscore is a ”free applicant tracking system, job marketing platform and resume sharing network”.   Geared for small to medium sized businesses, Jobscore appears to have fairly robust job listing and applicant handling capability.   See more about what Jobscore can do here.

Free and easy, Jobscore does have a money score in mind.  The revenue model looks like it will be based on the soon-to-be-available JobScore Network.   Employers will ultimately be able to connect with unhired candates (privately shared, with candidates’ permission) for a fee.

This is one to watch.

A hands-on Recruiter’s view of tech, tools, ideas, trends, people…

Posted by Rick Deare on January 22, 2008

I study trends, changes, and sometimes I even presume to wax eloquent on recruiting topics I think I know something about.  All the while, I wonder where the changes will take us (recruiters I mean).  Changes are happening at blinding speed.  At the end of the day, I realize that what I think I used to know probably needs to be at least half forgotten, because it changed this morning.

I can’t possibly distill all of the logical implications of new technologies, tools, information and trending without plugging in better.  Recruiting blogs, content rich sites, books and articles written by thinkers, innovators and industry watchers have been a huge help to me.  The more I plug in and the better I get at having the right information and guidance on my radar, the better I get at packetizing information and making sense of it all.

So I’m plugging in.  I mean, I’m really plugging in.  This blog is a way for me to enter the fray, stay informed, remain active at the industry level, keep myself accountable, and contribute something- maybe.

I’m not ready to write yet.  In the weeks ahead, I’m planning to learn how to use this blogging platform.  Then, we’ll see where it goes, and if it’s worth reading.
